Debunked! What is this guy smoking?Commander8: Good to see you on the boards, been a while.
i think that Paul intends to convey that it's the idea that we need a NAFTA Superhighway, that has been debunked.
Last time i checked, Paul certainly did believe that there were plans for a North American Union and a NAFTA Super highway.

Actually I was referring to Mr. Deeth.
But yeah, the need for such a highway has been debunked.

Would those of you who prefer to hit and run by adding nonsense keywords care to stay around to defend your actions?
Aw lighten up, it's harmless fun. I thought "preciousbodilyfluids" was a riot, myself. :D

I spend a lot of time working in Napa and the Napa Valley wine country... and so far the ONLY signs I’ve seen for President ‘08 have been Ron Paul signs. And a fair number of them. NO ONE else, not even ‘Rat signs... Tis passing strange, methinks! But in a GOOD sense...

OK, I hear you loud and clear.
Too bad you have nothing productive to say, though!

State field director predicts second, even first in Iowa Live by the slogan, die by the slogan. Careful Paulbots, you are putting your boy's whole campaign on the line with this sort of talk If he ends up out of the running in Iowa now, his campaign is finished just like Dean's was.

Conventionally, there are either two or three tickets out of Iowa to go to NH. Given the presence of a leftwinger (Giuliani) in the GOP field, that rule may need to be revisited. For instance, I don't think Fred Thompson should drop out if he gets a fourth or lower in either IA or NH.
Maybe it is you who should be more careful about setting such gates for candidate credibility, not us RP supporters.
For instance, if Mitt takes #1 in IA/NH, Ron Paul and McCain take #2 & #3 in both contests, would you then say that Fred and Rudi and the others should all just drop out? Well, of course not.
Try to be consistent if you want people to debate you seriously.
BTW, Johnnie, have you declared for a candidate yet? Just curious.

No other candidates have any geninue enthusiasm for them.
The only thing that they have going for them are some polls showing that they can beat Hillary.
If it looks like she is starting to fade it will open the field.
We realize that RP is a 'dark horse'

No no no. YOU are the people claiming he is going to place 1st or 2nd in Iowa. You don’t get to claim this is the analysis of “an experienced native Iowa operative” then make excuses if Paul finishes way down in the also ran column.
If Paul doesn’t do well in Iowa that indicates that what the critics have been saying all along is correct. Paul is a flash in the pan without any serious depth or support beyond a staged managed PR campaign by fringe wack job groups and Leftist pushing to use Paul as a 2008 Electoral Trojan Horse for Hillary

For being nasty to poor Ron and his supporters, you've made the club. Wow. It's like a cross between the defunct Clown Posse and a Ron Paul Worship forum.
I'm flattered! {blush!}

So, a Ron Turd minion is showing optimism and that should be noted? How in the world do you think that using the colloquial term for excrement on a forum that is read internationally is going to advance your agenda?
I'm curious, and would love to see a show of hands from FReepers who identify with your philosophy of vilification of those with whom you disagree and cheap word play on another's name. Who would like to share a beer with you, the prison guards from 'Cool Hand Luke?'
Why can't you simply discuss the ideas presented, pro and con, without resorting to cheap rhetoric? I'll give you a reason why you should consider doing this: Every time you and others who think the same as you spout off in this low manner, I am driven more to look to those you despise - My enemie's enemy is my friend, so to speak. And I don't want to have anything to do with you low-class and no-class buffoons. The people you are bad-mouthing are not using language not suitable for mixed company, and they are not attacking you or your candidates.
Why do you feel you behavious is acceptable, warranted, or desirable or in any way better makes your point better than your apponents? Seriously, 'Your Mother wears combat boots' went out in the Second Grade. Please, let's debate, simple name-calling is so, so, unproductive.
