Yes - if nothing else, he focused on individual liberty and the Constitution...something the rest of the GOP has forgotten. Just look at following too - Ron Paul’s ideas excited people; made people passionate about our constitution...the last time that happened was under Reagan. I don’t hold with his foreign policy, but he stimulates thought and interest, and that alone makes him a positive, and I say, welcome member of the GOP.

If you wish to defend him, as opposed espousing your ideals you get the whole package.

And it is a package on par with Murtha.
