A few obligatory blowouts; but, also a few wins and overall percentages are better than past years, too.

Thanks for the stats, VRer. ;^)

What the results of the Constitution and Green Parties? I checked the Constitution Party website, and I didn’t find results for any of their candidates.

Yeah nothing like being on the city council to give you a great boost in your senatorial race.

Oh and by the way how did that Jesse Ventura thing work out?

Might be the best --& only-- indicator of their success or lack thereof, my friend. A "negative alert" to we canine handlers, so to speak?

Interesting how some think Liberaltarians is the answer
because they are Anti War, believe Iran and North Korea is Not a threat as L Ron Paul has stated.

Paul also stated 9/11 was blowback for America.
The Alex Jones, Rockwell and other Liberaltarians
would be a joke if they wern’t such a danger to America with their extreme and delusional thinking.

To a certain degree, SoCal, all true Conservatives are Libertarians. I'm a Conservative first and a Republican second, with very strong Libertarian leanings. I don't agree with everything the LP stands for, especially in foreign policy, immigration, and drug legalization, but it would not take much for me to dump the GOP and become a full-blown member of the LP if the GOP's march to the left does not stop.

I've resolved to wait and see how 2012 turns out, and if the GOP undermines Sarah Palin and tries to shove a RINO like Romney and Pawlenty down my throat, then I'm gone.

Conservatives believe in strong National defense and believe in fighting for what is right.

Libertrians are bunker mentality along with other views that are far left.

Voting for Liberaltarians is getting a Left wing bean counter.

Read the history of the 1930s especially in Europe.
They were counting beans and making nice while
evil people were building up to start a war and kill
millions of people.

Having lived in the real world for several decades
including working for Reagan in his campaign when he first ran for Gov., I don’t believe supporting any party other than the one who already has the majority over anyone to beat the Democrats.

Dough Hoffman as he said is a life long Republican.
The Conservative Party in NY are Republicans
For people to go off half cocked thinking this can work elsewhere is not in the real world

We'll just have to respectfully agree to disagree on this issue.

BTW, as you know, I'm not a Ron Paul supporter (even though I do believe that he's right on a lot of domestic/fiscal issues), and I have no use for 9/11 truthers, who are just crazy. And I'm no pacifist.

But, I do love liberty and want the government out of my life period.

believe Iran and North Korea is Not a threat as L Ron Paul has stated.

Exactly how much was done to get Iran and North Korea under control during the last eight years of a GOP presidency?

Talking tough and doing nothing is no more effective than anything Dr. Paul (or sadly, even 0bama) has in mind.

Far more than the Democrats.
Reagan became President just after the Terrorists in
Iran were underway and the day Reagan became President
the American hostages heald for 444 days were released.
The Iranians knew Reagan would not take their crap.

When Ahmadinejad spoke in America with his ranting and lies, Congress voted to condemn him. The only person who voted not to condemn this dictator was Ron Paul

The difference in you two is amazing. VR can articulate an argument and remain respectful while in disagreement.

SCP on the other hand is a walking bag of insults incapable of intelligent discussion. Point in being is that he didn’t join this thread for any purpose than to be intentionally argumentative and disruptive. IOW a troll.

Ron Paul is nuts re: Iran and 9/11, and exactly right about a whole host of other issues.

So cumulatively, he’s no more crazy than GOP establishment types such as Boehner, Sessions and Gingrich, who believe people like DeDe Scozzafava are the future of the republican party, and who have contributed to the bankruptcy of our country (which is at least as grave a national security threat as the Islamofascists).

Just because the GOP establishment way of thinking/acting is more common, doesn’t mean it’s less nuts than the truthiest of libertarians.

No, I’ll vouch for SoCalPol’s sincerity. I’ve known her on FR for sometime since she is a regular poster on the Palin threads.

She is a long-standing Republican and actually worked for Reagan when he was governor. She does not tolerate third parties though, and in that, we strongly disagree, albeit respectfully.

AS much as Newt was a jerk with DeDe
He admitted he was wrong the other night.

When it comes to life and death issues such as the war declared by the IslamOfascists on America and other Non Muslim areas, there is no middle ground or outright support for the enemy.

The enemy if allowed on American soil will seperate your head from your body and that includes your bank account, 401K or whatever beans you are counting.

I have been on several counter demonstrations

Counter demonstrations face to face against Palestianians,
and Hamas.
Counter demonstrations vs 50,000 Mexicans.

Have also gone face to face many time with Paulites
with their anti war, 9/11 propaganda

If you say so....

I haven’t seen anything from her that resembles your thoughtful discussions.

But then again, I have a tendency to mock and deride the GOP faithful for latching onto a party so stupid that they nominate the man that destroyed their majority.

As long as the GOP can count on those faithful to vote for whomever they nominate then the GOP will continue to nominate losers, and I won’t be a part of it.

The GOP is nearly as cuplable for the mess America is in right now as are the Democrats.

The GOP perfected the ‘hold your nose and vote’ strategy of losing elections while sacrificing principles in the process.

Nice to see that the NY votes told the GOP where to go.

And that was another case of it being better for the Dem to win than the RINO.

But I guess if you really want to see a real winning political and governing strategy, let’s look at the Californian GOP machine. LOL!

Clearly you are projecting again.

Funny how you post your FR resume shortly after trying to mock me for my pics of Iraq saying how you never saw anyone try to hard to prove himself....yeah, ok, whatever LOL!

Typical though, one standard for you and one you apply to everyone else.

Hey, it's been...

I agree with you. And if the bankrupted US economy fully collapses, we won’t be able to pay for the war. The stated goal of the islamofacists is to do to us what we did to the Soviets—win the war by bankrupting them and collapsing their economy.

If you think this is about people’s personal bank accounts, I respectfully submit that you’re missing the point.

I think some Americans and others are afraid to believe there is an enemy who with either nuclear bombs, BioWeapons,
a single person with strapon bombs, or a single person shooting up a facility will harm us.

Denial did not work for some in the 1930s while the enemy
built up and mile by mile and Kristallnacht to roundups
until it was too late.

This time the weapons are far more devastating.

The Paulites can only think of economy because it has been
drilled into the psyche as a diversion by Paul as he
will not fight the real enemy who declared war on America, the IslamOfascist.
