Not-So-Neutral Switzerland

Posted on 12/01/2009 10:57:34 AM PST by Zanton

Three cheers for the Swiss! As everyone knows, or should know, Islam is at war with the West. Yesterday, via a nationwide referendum banning Muslim minarets in Switzerland, the West finally somewhat fought back. Although this building prohibition is technically an attack on freedom, and only really constitutes a symbolic counter-attack on the evil ideology of Islam, it's still a beautiful thing to see!

The ultimate tactic -- in this "clash of civilizations" and cultures -- is to intellectually refute the philosophy of Islam. The secondary tactic is to successfully morally condemn it. The tertiary tactic is to openly hate Muslims. And the final blow -- at least in terms of demography and geo-politics -- is to strip the Swiss Muslims of their citizenship and deport them. All advocates of, and sympathizers with, jihad and sharia should be summarily, rudely ousted.

Fundamental enemies of humanity, civilization, and freedom shouldn't be allowed in Switzerland, nor anywhere else in the West -- not even as residents, students, or tourists. Western Civilization needs to systematically rethink its notions of free thought, freedom of speech, denizenship, and citizenship. Residency shouldn't be guarenteed to those who shout for dictatorship. Political rights are simply not as important as civil liberties and individual rights.

Those who advocate for communism, fascism, Islam, and other forms of high tyranny are fully within their rights under Natural Law [i.e. the universal and omnipresent law of equal and unlimited liberty, justice, and individual rights for all]. Thus they shouldn't be jailed for one minute, nor fined one penny, for loyalty to and promotion of these horrific belief-systems. But they should be expelled from the nations they openly seek to savagely destroy. We should tell them to take their possessions, sorry behinds, and loathsome beliefs -- and go.

No attack whatsoever on the person or property of these fiends should take place. But their political "rights" should be terminated. These traitors to Western Civilization and residency-frauds should be recognized for what they are. Starting with serious and consistent believers in Islam, all champions of political enslavement, all pervasive and profound enemies of Western liberalism, should be acknowledged as the hardcore enemies that they are -- and then expelled.

Meanwhile, and until then, banning Islamic minarets is a good start. Or at least something. Why should the beatific land of noble, liberal, civilized Switzerland be blighted by the architectural symbols of treason, slavery, and raw evil?

Next step is for the Swiss to demolish those sinister mosques and tell their occupants to haul a$$.

I am glad to see that there is still one Western nation standing up against Islam.

Although this building prohibition is technically an attack on freedom,

The Swiss held a referendum and the majority voted NO...HOW is this an attack on freedom?

Mister Muggles -- You write: "The Swiss held a referendum and the majority voted NO...HOW is this an attack on freedom?"

It's important to distinguish between democracy and freedom -- altho' few people do. One is majority rule and the other is individual rights. Democracy is often mistaken, tyrannical, and evil -- individual liberty never is.

I thought the Europeans — led by the French and the Swiss — were all anti-Western, appeasing, “surrender monkeys.” Guess I was wrong! ;-)

>>Democracy is often mistaken, tyrannical, and evil — individual liberty never is.<<

.
That all depends on the individuals. Individual liberty without individual sense of responsibility creates chaos. This is the liberal philosophy: ‘If it feels good, it must be good, so do it’.

Our God-given freedom, as mentioned in the Constitution, implies that its recipients also believe in God and are willing to follow His statutes and not just ‘do their own thing’.

Well, individuals do do evil at times (obviously), but the political ideal is still limitless and untouchable individual rights and personal liberty — NOT democracy. And freedom comes from human nature, the inherent needs and desires of the Holy Individual, and (as it were) metaphysical/existential social equality — not “god.”

By the way, “god” is never mentioned in the US Constitution, and religion is naturally authoritarian and tyrannical (as well as utterly false and evil).

Given that Switzerland was founded by peasants led by Knight Templar calvary (fleeing some temporal corruption in the Roman Catholic Church of the time, but that’s a different issue), this does not surprise me.
