Yet Another Attempted Massacre of Innocents by Muslims

Posted on 12/26/2009 10:15:17 AM PST by Zanton

The atrocities just keep coming from Muslims. No outrage or horror is too much for them. They never let up.

Yesterday's Northwest Airlines flight #253 from Amsterdam to Detroit is just the latest. But keep checking the headlines, folks -- tomorrow it could easily be something new and worse.

In the latest incident, 278 passengers could have been spectacularly slaughtered in mid-flight near Detroit. Fortunately, the jihadi failed. This time.

But the lack of a ghastly bloodbath over the American heartland -- courtesy of the followers of Islam -- wasn't for lack of intent or desire. Give them credit: Muslims always TRY to massacre as many innocents as they can.

The ‘’banality of evil’’. It seems to me that the world, the Western world at least has forgotten this famous quote. It’s been some sixty-five plus years since the world has looked true evil in the face and been held by the collective throat. Thanks to two generations of indoctrination in ‘’tolerance’’, diversity’’ and ‘’multi-culturalism’’, the Western world refuses to recognize real evil as being unassuming and ordinary in appearance. It keeps looking for a wild-eyed, monolithic, raving beast of some sort wearing a uniform, and sadly if such an apparition were to appear it would refuse to even recognize that for what it is. This situation with Islam can’t last for ever. It will come down to a final reckoning. It can’t be avoided.

Good point! Evil usually does wear a banal face. The quiet, boring people -- even the warm, friendly people -- of communism, socialism, fascism, and Islam need to be stopped. Their philosophy is false and evil. That's the point.

But so too - to a far lesser extent -- those who advocate right-wing conservatism, left-wing progressivism, Christianity, Judaism, Mormonism, Hinduism, etc.

We need a rebirth of classical liberalism based (more or less) on the thinking of the Austrians/Chicagoans, libertarians, and Objectivists!

I'm sorry Zanton but liberalism is not the answer it's part of the problem. Liberalism gave of the ‘’tolerance’’ nonsense and tolerance is the virtue of believing in nothing. The Western world has been attacked unceasingly for decades by Islam and as I said, it's time to pay Islam back in it's own coin.

The answer is classical liberalism -- the diametric opposite of conservatism and liberalism.

You’re talking to a former liberal here, there is nothing redeeming about liberalism and there is no such thing as ‘’classical liberalism.

Libertarianism, then.
