Your sentence sure doesn’t.
In Russian there is a word ‘companeischina’ to sarcastically describe government initiatives like that. An idea of comaneischina is it is always huge and a failure. US has a history of these programs as well. ‘War on Poverty’ , ‘War on Drugs’, ‘War on Terror’. All failed too.
As long as the southern border is open, there is no war on drugs.
Sure. But is escaping reality necessarily a bad thing? What if you are in constant pain from some ailment?

I’m sorry, but thinking one is being set up on an anonymous internet forum smacks of paranoia (best case scenario) or delusions of grandeur (not such a great scenario). Why would you think your opining is worthy of an anonymous internet forum setup (whatever that means)?
The War on Murder has been a dismal failure, too.

Hmmm, murder on one hand.
smoking a joint watching a Mumford and Sons show.
Yup, no difference.
Back then, I was giving a tour to newly-hired DEA agents to our police laboratory. Each agent was from NYC.
I’d attended the University of Miami, so I became the interpreter: None impressed me, so I thought the WOT was already a lost cause. :(
