It’s horrible, but places like Hanahan, etc. have improved. There’s actually a lot less crime overall. I think a lot of the baddies have killed each other and they’re out of the gene pool.
That said, there doesn’t seem to be any justification for this. How could a tubby little black guy (running away) who almost looks like a caricature be a threat to a fit, armed cop?

I used to live in Hanahan and I agree that it’s somewhat of a safe zone from the rest of North Chas.
There is no doubt that cop doesn’t belong on any police force. I think he did what he did, may have been, because he thought that losing a tazer gun to a suspect was the equivalent to losing his service weapon to one.
Either way, he’s toast.
