I was very excited to find this website as I have been researching my Dad's military career. He passed away in 1988. During WWII he was in the 85th 338th Co. D Inf Regt.Army, North Africa then in Italy. He received the Bronze Star for battle at N.Appennies and PO Valley campaigns. Rome , Arno GO 88/44 85th Inf Div. But I didn't get to hear the stories first hand and I was wondering if there is anyone on this site that was in his unit?
