It's going to be slow as is for our dial-up folks.

It's pretty frustrating when the text you are trying to read keeps jumping up the screen on you. I am lobbying Hubby for DSL. Hobbit lass is beginning to join the discussion. I don't know whether to get an ethernet card or use the modem they'll supply. I also don't know whether or not to set up a wiles network so the hobbit lass can hook up her PC, too. Nor do I know how complicated this will be to set up. Any tips anyone has will be welcome. The SBC rep just says, "We'll send you a kit."

I have 3 computers networked. Nothing fancy, the hardest part was running the cable, I didn't want to go wireless.

I took the modem they supplied, I figured if anything goes wrong they supply a new one.

Don't ya love it. Grrrr. I'm having parts and a kit sent to me so my laptop can "go wireless anywhere in the world". Oh boy, I can't wait to try and put it together and then make it work. LOL.
