Morning CT. When I visited the USS MISSOURI. The dent in the armored belt is still visible. That's where I first heard the story about the Burial at sea story about the pilot.

Now I get it. From the perspective of the picture from above it looked like the plane was headed for the gun pits, but it actually hit below in the armored belt. Lucky for those guys.
