No Reply from Hackworth. I'm Shocked!
I'd settle for Streisand's house if Gay Pride Parade is clouded over.

In the event of accidental poison ingestion, should the need to projectile vomit arise, obtain photo of Martin Sheen limboing his ex-alchy pot-belly ...Ewww. Now I need to see a stuck pig to get that image out of my mind.

Anyone have any idea what the antenna-thingies are on those A-bombs? Some sort of radar altimeter, perhaps?

A college student back in the 80's designed a nuke for his college thesis.
His paper was with-held and he wasn't told what his grade was.
(His research was pretty scary in it's implications back then, he called DuPont and asked them how to make 'an explosives blanket' to cover the plutonium primary. They told him what DuPont product they used at the time, over the phone.)
He went into teh office and asked what his grade was.
They told him that he didn't get a grade, as they were discussing whether or not his paper should be classified and forwarded to the nuke lab guys.
Don't remember offhand what the outcome was.
But he basically demonstrated that it was possible for plain ordinary people to produce a working weapon design.
(Actually building one is somewhat more difficult, there's special machinery needed to get things 'right', or so I'm told.)
