Thinking about those days, so wildly improbable and reckless those affairs were. The strange GIs I hung out with. Wild is not the word for those guys.

Came to think about telling a story about the fellow who is responsible for getting me to hang out around those Duc Pho area villages. Me a straight laced middle class Swab in Indian Country when not even ordered to be there! Just can't though, no way to clean it up, glad I didn't get into real trouble. And I don't mean just getting shot at! A miracle I am right here, right now.
