June 10 Big Bethel/ Bethel Church/ Great Bethel VA FWIW Mr Eicher rated the June 10th engagement as the first major battle of the Civil War. As I mentioned earlier it all depends on what "is" is.
Opps wrong analogy, thought it might be good for a cheap laugh :-)
I will have to look through Mr. Eicher's book some more tonight.
