B-25, one of the, if not the, best ground attack airplanes of WWII.

Did the Confederate Air Force go all pc on us, or is this a different group.
Same organization, changed name.
The name change was largely involuntary and an example of market economics at work. The CAF didn't want to change its name, but airshows were threatening to drop their participation if it was retained.

I think it’s a B-24 Liberator. I don’t think any B-29’s are still flying.

I know about Kermit Weeks. A visit to his “Fantasy of Flight” in central Florida reveals that he has no less than 12 WWII planes of various types, from a couple of P47s up to a Lancaster Bomber in 4 containers that was given to him to restore. He employs something like a dozen people full time, and they will all retire before they finish the ones in line. The B-29 will probably never get finished. Lots of work.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at the AF Commemorative Museum at Falcon Field in Mesa 2 years ago. It was a really cool and unique location, with historic planes all around. Here's a couple of pics:

The Cofederate Air Force as far as I know went PC.

Great! I stand corrected. I was thinking of the Collings Foundation.

I must do that before I die. My dad was RAF and flew the P-51 in combat, along with Spitfires and Hurricanes.
