69 years ago today America dropped the first atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima. God Bless America.
My dad was one of the soldiers in the Philippines waiting to take part in the invasion of Japan. Thank goodness, the Japanese surrendered before that could happen.
The bomb killed many, but SAVED many, many more - on both sides.
