Harpers Ferry was my one Civil War site on my trip from Maine to Virginia last month. I recommend it. I got to view an afternoon of ivil Wat on the History channel last week. Taped Gettysburg for my Maine grandkids so they know about Chamberlain.

The Movie Gettysburg does a great job on showing Chamberlain and the Maine Brigade on the Roundtops.
I've always regretted I wasn't able to visit Gettyburg when I lived back East.

"ivil Wat" is meant to be Civil War. But you knew that.

We love the History Channel. I will go see if they are going to do a repeat of the Gettysburg program.
A&E also does some fun stuff. We just finished watching a two part movie on Napolean! It seems because we had taped it, we missed one on Marie Antionette!! Dag nabbit!!
Though we are none to happy with the French right now, we did enjoy watching a very well done movie.
Thanks for the info.
