I studied the Bay of Pigs pretty hard, then the Diem assassination somewhat less. There is also Kennedy's exposure of Oleg Penkovsky, and his promise to the Soviets to leave Cuba alone forever. I started to see it couldn't all be misfeaseance. I was seeing malfeaseance.

I wouldn't characterize my ideas as a "theory", but old Joe followed the Moscow line quite closely until the invasion of the Soviet Union. If this point of view reflects the truth then it is unreasonable to expect any documentation survives.

Thanks, I was curious as to what led you to believe Kennedy wanted the invasion to fail.

Old Joe was also a Nazi backer until the war broke out.
