I'm a professional musician (have been for nearly 30 years...there are several names on my resume you would recognize), from a family of professional musicians (dad played in shows with Louis Armstrong, mother is a professional jazz singer who still swings, to this day), married to a professional trumpet player with a doctorate (we got engaged the day after he played with Natalie Cole), and I have a brother-in-law who is one of the finest sax players in the country and sells CDs internationally.

Having established my credentials : ), I will volunteer that the opinion of every musician I know on Bill Clinton's sax playing: He sucks - unless you're judging him on high school kid standards...in which case he would be mediocre.

Thanks for the expert opinions. I'd be interested to know if Clinton's short performance on a talk show was sufficient to indicate his low proficiency or whether anyone you know had a chance to hear Clinton play elsewhere.
