The Thais call the banded Krait the "two-step snake" and rightly so. If you take two steps after being bitten, quite often by then you were dead. My father killed one in the front yard after a monsoon rain saw it swimming by. Very scary incident. Deadly snake, no ifs, ands or buts.

Behaviour:
Nightactive not aggressive. During daytime she curls up and hides her head under her body. Moves slowly and is not eager to bite.
