I hope this is on video, because it will make some great ad material.

I don't think Kerry wants her as a Veep as much as he used to.

Wow.
Isn't that pretty much phrase right out of the Marxist handbook?

Ah, good. The socialist side of the Hill is coming out! I wish the alphabet media would plaster this on their airwaves but I'm not betting the farm on that. FOX and Rush, yes, but the rest will give her a pass just like they have always done. Just damn.

Hillary Clinton: "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Was standing in line at Post office watching TV: The big news was on a "cat burgler" hitting OJ's rich neighborhood in So. CA. -- and of course, I wondered what "things" had gotten stolen for the "common good"..

Her and her husband have been saying this kind of stuff for years, haven't they?
I remember the 92 election, arguing with a friend of mine. He agreed with Clinton that we 'need to have the belt tightend' or somthing to that effect.
I remember his 'for the common good, we the people need to sacrifice'. Those who weren't willing to 'sacrifice' were
bad Americans.
I can't believe this crap has come this far as to be so blatantly accepted in America!

I hope this is on video, because it will make some great ad material. If not, the Republicans should plaster the quote across every TV set in the nation, in 72-point font!

Damn straight they said it, and it jumped right up onto my tagline. This is one of the most important quotes of the whole campaign! Let's keep it alive!

Hillary will be the VP, the libs are desperate now, if Iraq goes well and Democracy flourishes over there, Bush could go down as another Ronald Reagan, They must regain the White House to ensure Iraq fails, the MUST !!

Then-Pres. B.J. Clinton, Buffalo, NY, 1/20/99: "... since it's projected that over a 25-year period we will average substantial surpluses on an annual basis -- now, they'll go up and down with the economy, but the point is we have no permanent deficit anymore, the natural condition is a surplus, okay -- so the question is, what do we do with it?
"We could give it all back to you and hope you spend it right. But I think -- here's the problem. If you don't spend it right, here's what's going to happen..."
As infuriating to remember now as it was hearing it then. Regardless of their marital animus, these two are peas in a pod.

Like who didn't know this already? Like this is going to matter to the 50% of the population that doesn't really pay income taxes already? In fact this is proably a smart move on her part cause the "common good" people already out number and out vote, the tax paying "rich" people.

What she really meant is... "I'm going to take things away from you, for me! All for Hillary. I'm going to get you and your little dog too! And then I'll write another book and sell lots of copies to your public library even though nobody wants them. Yes, pillaging the White House is nothing compared to what I plan to do to you!!!!"

Sadly. probably a solid 1/3 of the population thinks this is dandy. Another 1/3 can be talked into anything, it seems.
