Western Pa. Man In Trouble For Allegedly Sucking Strangers' Toes

GREENSBURG, Pa. -- A 21-year-old Greensburg man is in jail and awaiting trial on charges that he sucked on the toes or kissed the feet of two women and a 12-year-old girl earlier this month.

James Kilpatrick has waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of stalking, indecent assault, corruption of minors and harassment.

City police said all the incidents occurred between July 3 and 9, at either St. Clair Park or the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, both in Greensburg.

A 12-year-old girl told police that she was reading at the library when Kilpatrick started kissing her feet, then offered her 22-year-old sister $1 to let him do the same to her.

At the park, one woman told police she dozed off while sunbathing and woke up to find Kilpatrick sucking her toes. Police said another woman had her toes sucked when she stopped to read a memorial plaque in the park.

All the victims picked out Kilpatrick from a photo lineup.

It wasn't immediately clear if Kilpatrick has an attorney.

Foot fetishes seem to be so common? For the life of me I don't understand what the fascination is? Feet are gross, dirty, nasty, icky. I think I must have the opposite of a foot fetish, whatever that is?

Who knows? My wife has beautiful feet, but damned if I'm going to obsess over them. I think it's the same for any other body part. The fetishist reduces it to the status of an object.

Here in the Antelope Valley of CA, about 20 years ago, there was a fellow who convinced women that he was a podiatry student to get them to take off their shoes. He would then suck their toes.

Some wag wrote a poem (no, I don't have the whole thing) which began:

"I get no excitement from toes;
I have no desire to suck those..."
