You know, the desire to steal vs the actual lowering of the will to steal.
Seems that we humans have various levels of mental misbehavior, but only some of us will take that mental misbehavior and make a lifestyle out of it.
Have they done a twin study on it yet? If a twin is a pathological thief, is their twin more likely to be one?
Actually, yea. I think some have been done on criminal behavior and found correlations. But the the twin studies that I think have the most commonality to homosexuality are on mental illness. I looked it up a long time ago, but didnt save it,

I think mental illness is a better comparison because sexual orientation is more resultant of an emotional/psychological principle if you will, that most participants say has always been beyond their control. I think its also comparable on a moral level, not so blatant a sin, benign at best and arguably indirectly destructive to society.
