I've been meaning to rent that. Someone told me it didn't match the hype. But Hughes is fascinating. I wonder if he would have been let into Central Park West...

Saw this movie at home just the other day...and was very surprised at the underlying tone of enterprise and capitalism, and even patriotism!--it was almost conservative. "We don't talk about money..." "That's because you have it."
It was a pretty good slap at effete Old Money weaklings, except that real Old Money is rural, not Manhattan as in this story. Horses and boats and dogs. Horses and boats and dogs.
