It's obscene, and Youtube should be made aware of it since it clearly violates their Terms of Service.

Ironically, they make it next to impossible to report it. Of course.

It brings the soul around ... to *their* way of feeling.

Maybe. If a soul is already bent in that direction. But, a normal person should look at this and have understanding that we could be next, any day.

Not sure what your point is

Oh, IIRC, "Inside The Twin Towers" will be on The Discovery Channel tonight
at 9PM EASTERN/8PM Central.

Be sure to double-check that time if planning to tune in.

No, I think one of the very reasons it is so easy for so many people to dismiss 9/11 is that it was sanitized almost imediately, as if those 3000 people had simply gone out to work that morning and been whisked away by spaceships. Remember, one of the crazy theories of the 9/11 deniers is that the CIA took over the airplane and dumped all the passengers out over the ocean before flying it into the WTC...

I think it's good to see this (although I actually couldn't stand to watch more than a few seconds, personally) and remind people of the horrible reality of the whole thing. Even if common sense won't wake them up, reality might.

Let Spike Lee do a documentary on it like he did with New Orleans and the victims of Katrina.

Only he can show all the dead and dying victims.

Of course he will blame Bush for dynamiting the Two Towers but that goes without saying....

I watched the bottom video live while in Europe on September 11, 2001. I had been telling other Americans about it, and they said that it was shown in the US. I could not prove otherwise, since I was not here.

The jumpers were not shown live on ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX/CNN. They were shown live on Telemundo/Univision however on 9/11.

Adam Gadahn sounds like a mix between Baghdad Bob and Tokyo Rose.

Lord Haw Haw would be a closer approximation. Just before the British strung him up for treason in 1946, he said, "In death as in life, I defy the Jews who caused this last war, and I defy the powers of darkness which they represent."

BTW, speaking of approximations, the treason charge was a bit bogus, since he was actually an American who had become a German citizen and never had been a British subject, although he carried a British passport.

One hopes Gadahn won't be captured alive. To judge from Leonie Brinkema and the twelve dumbest of greater Alexandria, Americans have lost the knack for approximation.

Thanks very much! I live in Texas, and speak only enough Spanish to order food and get by. We do tune in to Telemundo, Galavision, and Univision on occasion for the newsfeeds and steamy novellas. To address the point of a previous poster about classifying all of the people that fell, jumped, or were pushed as "jumpers"; I understand. The blame must be laid upon the radical islamics that committed the horrific act. Not on the innocent victims.

Thanks. I am shocked and appalled that MSNBC conducted such a thorough research as well......

That durned sarcasm thing fell on the floor. Soon as it gets located, it will be here.

I have a realistic view. The same kind of view, imo, the founding fathers had when they established (1) a representative republic rather than a full democracy and (2) set up a set of balancing powers -- not only between the three co-equal federal branches, but between big and small states via the House and Senate, and between the States and the Federal government. They knew man to be motivated by base motives such as greed, lust, lazyiness, fear, etc. and that those motives need careful direction to be properly used for the good.

We can use words, in appropriate, purposeful manner and setting to say all that needs to be heard and to be motivational about the three thousand we all lost that day. Words go to the reasoning level of our being -- images and direct exposure both cause a experience, an unavoidable natural reastion, at the basal body-level. That reaction differs from inidividual to individual but it is traumatic, no matter how subtle the effect. As Bin Laden and his beheading video loving ilk may know, directly or subconsciously one unavoidable basal effect is to stroke the "victim" in us all. To make us more likely to become a victim of life rather than master of it.

Yes, I agree with that, that we have a real problem in that it was immediately and agressively sanitized. AT THE TIME IT HAPPENED, the images may have served some purpose -- still even then the images and video would have been overpowering for many and induced the helpless victim effect. Today? Un-unh. Just morbid gawkin -- what do we all want to be teenie goths? Not me.
