Good point you brought up. He handed them over to Iran. Yep, Iran. The Sunni "secular" Baathist handed his Airforce over to the Shia "religious" Theocrats. But we are told today that never ever those contradicting postions would ever support, or cooperate, with each other.

BTW Iran is STILL keeping those Planes. The new Iraq has repeatedly requested Iran to give them back, but with no success.
