Wrong. Why would Mexico's lawyers, doctors and engineers want to come to the US. They are already the elite in Mexico and they know that the US already has too many lawyers, too many doctors, and too many engineers.
These lettuce pickers, fast food workers, and janitors are willing to start at the bottom to make a better life for their families. Many in this country want the guarantee of a "good job" for life whether they work at it or not. Thats why they support Mr Pat B. He tells them its someone elses fault they cant find a job as good as the Auto mfring job they lost because they were vastly overpaid.

I agree there are too many lawyers, but not engineers. We have a government which is too big and stifles production deliberately, coupled with corporate management which refuses to do adequate engnineering up front, and refuses to plan for the long term returns which comes from long term quality.
