I hereby warn the FBI and the CIA that something bad is going to happen one of these days. It will involve actual Bad Guys doing something bad. OK folks, you saw it. If it happens now, it's their fault. |

I wouldnt be surprised.Clinton so emasculated the security, intelligence and military services to the point that they probablty were afraid to act on the information provided.

Mossad officials traveled to Washington last month to warn the CIA and the FBI that a cell of up to 200 terrorists was planning a major operation, according to a report in the Sunday Telegraph here yesterday. What major operation??? Still to occur??

The Mossad gave specifics.
Do you recall early, after the WTC and Pentagon attacks, Ashcroft and others saying they were looking for approximately 200 members of sleeper cell groups in the USA?

"...were afraid to act on the information provided." I've wondered about that many times over the last 5-6 years.

The Mossad gave specifics. Sorry, I didn't know that. I accidentally stopped the Mossad briefings while messing around with my spam filter one day. Now I don't know how to turn them back on.

Everything you wrote in Reply #3 is completely accurate. If everyone would just memorize it, they would understand the nature of this problem.

That wouldn't matter if we had
1) kept known terrorists out of the country
2) had not let known terrorists attend US flight schools
3) had strong, securely-locked doors on cockpits

4) Allowed aircraft crew to carry weapons.

Except for these same terrorists could have boarded a plane in England.

Bad play, old chap.
We can't do anything about England.
Boardings in America are our responsibility.
Just one change would stop any highjacking.
Allow the crew to carry weapons.
Expecially pilots, most of whom learned to fly in the armed forces, where they were expected to have a weapon.

"...Our first item of business is to arm and train every male adult in America, and recognize that a armed civilian population is the greatest deterrent to a potential terrorist offensive in any part of our country.
Joe American Citizen has always been the best protector of America. We don't need to adopt a police state mentality to make America safe. This is our individual responsibility, and I'm not passing it on to some government thug SWAT team who neither respect my family, or our freedoms.

I remember reading that the Japanese never considered landing on American soil, because we had a reputation as "gangsters," with everyone owning a gun.
There were also the stories of our troops in World War 2, who with very little training compared to European standards, were very effective due to knowing how to handle weapons before they entered military service.
An armed population works for Israel, too. The reason that Palestinians murder with a bomb instead of a firearm is that any Palestinian attacker would be seriously outnumbered by his opponents. Thus, Palestinians sneak around with bombs, to give themselves a greater chance of success.

You know why the Mossad is not 'reliable'? Because if you accept the Jews' evidence it shows that your people haven't been doing their jobs. Well, the CIA always does its job, ergo the Israelis are prevaricating.

I bet there's a lot of truth in what you say, rebdov.

Learn english, the word is "flown" not "flyed". I guess you are from Isreal? And, yes, I have, and, no, the security is symbolic, but it doesn't stop terorrist. It certainly would not have stopped these terrorists.
I repeat: These terrorists used valid boarding passes, boarded with or without legal knives, and did nothing, absofreeping nothing, illegal before committing their crimes. So, how would any other security have stopped this?
# 29 by PatrioticAmerican *************************
It could have been stopped by waiting to see if the idiot with the knife was actually crazy enough to kill the stewardess, and when he did, killing the fool with your gun.
Maybe you didn't pay attention on your Israeli airline flight. Weapons are allowed to the crew. It's not like our purely "symbolic" method of walking through a metal detector.

The point is security measures. All the security checks in the world will not stop a determined terrorist. A well trained attacker can board a plane butt naked, and still cause it to crash or possible take over the plane.
