Good for Rudy!! And yes, if Saudi is so worried about the Palestinians, why don't THEY make a homeland THERE in Saudi for them? Funny thing is, that Newsweek article "Why Do They Hate Us?" points out that Palestinians under Israeli rule have more freedoms and rights than do Arabs in most other Arab lands! You don't suppose it could be for the same reason Jews insisted upon having their Israel where it is: claims of 'historical right' (or in religious Jews' case, 'Divine right') to a piece of land? Of course.

Palestinians aren't Saudis any more than Texans or Californians are Brits and would desire to move wholesale or be welcomed in a sovereign nation carved out of England if Texas or California were "returned" to Mexico.

During the Gulf War Arafat made the mistake of backing Iraq. As a result all the Palestinian workers in Saudi Arabia were expelled. To my knowledge they were never invited back.
