NEW YORK (CNN) -- If U.S. troops currently stationed on peacekeeping detail in the Balkans were needed on the front lines in Afghanistan, NATO troops from other member nations would gladly take their place, the military alliance's leader said Friday.

Hey Fusion!

You've been very quiet lately.  Do your American informants have other things to do these days besides sit in that cafe in Switzerland with you?

Looks like Camp Bondsteel will be handed over to miscellaneous EU member military.  I wonder if they will be as good an ally to the KLA/UCK as the US Military has been?

Well, you know I flag you because I like to read your replies.

I agree, let's get our troops out of the Balkans. What a great opportunity, if NATO really means they'll take over. This should have happened long ago.

Ta for the flag.

I'll believe it when I see it, but it could happen in these strange times. The KLA are now the most dangerous mafia causing the most criminal problems in Europe including such horrendous activities as sex slavery, gun running and drug smuggling.

Most of the European countries have no patience at all with these thugs; except Blair because he put so much personal effort into finding a wardrobe to match their flag while visiting recruitment/ refugee camps; preaching about bringing democracy through bombs etc. etc. That whole Third Way thing.

Yes, it has been a quiet time from this pen while The Third World War evolves into the second and third move variants of this non-classic opening. The West is being destroyed in shocking fashion, and to their credit, the Kosovo Liberation Army has tempered their responses to Slavic hegemonism out of respect for their American friends.

The KLA would be very happy to see the US out of the Balkans. Then the entire region could become one massive free fire zone as the European Union apologists collapsed within their own inertial gravity.

Macedonia has betrayed the spirit of the peace plan and thus must be destroyed. Should the US depart the region they will leave hundreds of tonnes of weapons and supplies in Kosovo province for the KLA -- however it is unlikely they will depart Camp Bondsteel now that the Third World War it was predicated on has begun.

The comments by Kate22 about the KLA being some kind of mafia are silly and shrill. But then again all of England has good reason to fear for their lives as mentioned below to Wraith.

Meanwhile the democratically elected government of President Aslan Maskhadov continues to kill Russians every day. As they sing in Grozny:

"Ice" Basayev: Straight outta Grozny
Squeeze the trigger and the bodies are hauled off
You too, Putin, if you f*** with me
Your FSB is gonna hafta come and get me
Over the border, that's how I'm goin' out
Seize a hospital on TV, that's showin' out!
Russians wanna take us in a week
We're cuttin' off their fingers and frying em into shashlik!
Goin' off on a hostage like that...
With a beard that's growin' to the floor
And what's more...
You can check my right foot at the door
Here's a murder rap to keep you mellow
With a crime record like Chikatilo
Hexagen is the tool
To explode your neighborhood preschool
TV News -- showed me with my beard on
Negotiating with Viktor Chernomyrdin
On the news weekly monthly yearly
Till those dumb Russian monkeys see clearly
That I'm down with the capital B-A-B...
Boy you can't f*** with me!
So when I'm in your village you'd better duck
Cause Basayev is crazy as f***
When I leave, nobody knows me
But when I come back boy, I'm comin' straight outta Grozny.

Shamil Basayev is the greatest soldier on the face of this earth. He does not have an MBA like most American officers do -- he just kills the enemy. He does not kiss butt like every American officer fearing being passed over does at O-5 and O-6 -- he just kills the enemy.

Shamil Basayev has said he will destroy Moscow. He has much more credibility from his position of perceived weakness than all the American generals bragging about how they will destroy Afghanistan from a position of perceived strength.

The US is bombing Afghanistan???? Talk about moving those rook's pawns too early. Can no one in the Pentagon remember that opening moves must attack the centre of the board?

"Allah's suitcase" to remake the world in a stunning burst of light and sound. Hopefully it is Moscow destroyed and not Chicago or Houston. It will be a shame though to see those old buildings in Oxford come down. Do they still cut your tie in half when you walk in at some of the pubs there?

Meanwhile America goes into intellectual lockdown. This is the area where the KLA truly feels for their American friends. Crushing intellectual dissent, even in wartime, is the road to fascism. What's next after having NATO planes fly overhead? Gun registration by UN blue berets?

Anthrax? What about the Islamic entente martyrs that have been infected with Smallpox -- flying cross country? The US has been made once again to look in the wrong direction. The guy acting funny is not the threat on a plane -- it is the guy sweating bullets with the 103 degree fever that will spread the virus that will kill thousands from his initial exposure...

*******

Wraith

There is credible evidence emerging that an assassination attempt will be directed against Tony Blair within the next few weeks. Your pals at MI-5 want to be on the lookout for suspicious travel activity between Armenia and London. I'm sure they are hip to what is happening in Georgia and Azerbaijan now.

Frankly if he goes down it won't really be a problem, however he did back NATO airstrikes for 78 days on Serbia. And the KLA never forget their friends...

Millions soon to die. Please be safe...

The forces of freedom on the move. Europe trembles.

So facts about the Albanian mafia (of which the KLA is part) are "silly and shrill"? I don't think so somehow.

Fuki, you just can`t help yourself, sometimes, can you?!Very poetic post this time. But,I don`t like your idea, about assasination of Tony Blair! He has to reshape the world, right now, save Africa, conquer terrorism...he will repair delapidated British hospitals and schools some other time!To bussy right now saving the world!

Tell me,should I move from London to Djakovica ,for instance, and convert to Islam or should I stay here and wait to be "liberated" by your KLA FORCES OF FREEDOM???

Wraith, watch yor back,or you will "implode"!And,if you want to survive, you must confess that you`r real name is Peter Chapel!Just in case, don`t by any hot dogs from Albanian street vendors if you come to London!

The hypocritically sworn Doctor who admires Czech anti aircraft artillery has reemerged. The PRAGA 30 M.M. was it. I thought Fusions post was very interesting. Unfortunately you don't walk the walk so you missed what he was saying. Maybe I am in London? Ever been to the Grenadier on Wilton Row? Usually there on Friday evenings.

p> Fusion you are truly the dedicated poet. It seems the Muslim world stands divided which will further fragmentize as the conflict continues. Truly a divided house. Sounds like the U.S. are pulling out of the Balkans and so it goes;

Once more we hear the word That sickened earth of old: "No law except the sword Unsheathed and uncontrolled," Once more it knits mankind, Once more the nations go To meet and break and bind a crazed and driven foe. Rudyard Kipling.

All NATO Secretary-General George Robertson is saying here is that US troops stationed in the Balkans may be dispatched to the Afghan front. IOW, when they are finished in Afghanistan, the ones who manage to survive, will return to in the Balkans, where they are stationed.

It's a start.

Hi Wonder.

I see the Balkan Front FreeRepublic is still on.

If a not a single US or NATO soldier gets killed in Bosnia, I get the feeling that there will be a lot of sad people on the Balkan Front site. Considering the amount of articles posted screaming about such a threat.

Cheers Tony

Good Afternoon Tony,

Yes, the Balkan Front is seems to be springing back to life. I think the FR change-over to the new format damped us down a bit -- couldn't find the threads, each other, ourselves, on here for a while among all the war on terrorism and "anthrax!" threads.

I suppose some might be disappointed, although it looks to me like many are gloating over the fact that the mujahadin aspect of the Bosnian war is now being more widely reported.

I certainly hope no NATO soldiers are killed. In the old UNPROFOR days, mainly around 1994 I believe, some UNPROFOR and ECMM personnel from the West, especially from the US, were being targeted by mujahadin in BiH, and a few were killed. Even as late as 1997, certain Americans could not travel in BiH because of the mujahadin threat. I don't want to hear of anyone else getting killed.

As I'm sure you are aware, "ordinary" Bosnian Muslims were horrified by the excesses of the mujahadin, just as "ordinary" Serbs and Croats were horrified by certain extremists among their ranks.

This is off-topic, but I'm curious: are people in the UK as jittery over terrorism as people in the US? So many folks here are afraid to go to shopping malls, fly, go to sporting events, etc., some even afraid to open their mail. I'm not -- my husband and I go about our lives as usual, as do most of our friends.

Best regards, wonders
