Here's my plan: Patriots assemble at the UN Plaza around 12:00, in order to be there to greet the peaceniks. Be forewarned, most of the "peace" protestors will most likely be anarchists, communists and the like. There will probably be a lot of folks shouting things like "F**k the USA!!", so if ya can't handle that, stay home.

I'm going to make lots of copies of Horowitz's "Open Letter to Anti-War Demonstrators" to hand out. If anyone else has any ideas, or can bring some "extras" like a bullhorn, please let me know.

Right on, Bryan. My husband and I will be there. We'll bring a few extra signs in case any comes without. I think we'll leave our gorgeous huge flag at home, since I don't want to risk having it doused with gasoline... Flags are great, but since these morons see them as a symbol of warmongering, rather than the beautiful symbol lf everything this country stands for, signs are good too. Some suggested words for signs, for those who want to give 'em food for thought: Terrorism is not healthy for children and other living things :) What if they had a war and nobody came, except the terrorists? I really admire all the Freepers' work on countering these people. I'm one of the leaders of the patriotic resistance (under the club name Berkeley USA) in occupied territory at UC Berkeley. On Wednesday 10/24 at Noon on Sproul Plaza, we're staging a pro-America rally. Count on the anti-war people who dominate our campus to be there in full force. At the last pro-America rally on campus we had 300 to their 500 or so, so we can nearly match them on their home turf now. This is an invitation to all people out there to come and attend our rally. Every major local news organization, as well as several national ones, will be there, since Berkeley is, for better or for worse, the epicenter of student "movements"

We're really making waves and getting noticed- we were on television when we spoke against the Berkeley City Council's condemnation of the War on Terrorism, and have been featured in all the news reports of the anti-war protests on campus as the smaller crowd of counterdemonstraters. This rally will be the moment that makes or breaks our standing on campus. We need, and we invite all Freepers and other like-minded individuals to come out with your flags and let these Berkeley students know what America thinks of them!
