EAST LANSING -- A California-based anti-abortion group plans to bring its traveling displays of billboards and placards featuring aborted fetuses to the Michigan State University campus and the freeways around Detroit and Ann Arbor next week.

The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform will first set up displays at MSU on Monday and Tuesday, director Gregg Cunningham said.

Why the F does Planned Parenthood get funded with tax dollars. Not only do they perform abortions, these jerks campaign in elections against candidates I support.

Planned Parenthood calls the caravan's start poorly timed

I wonder exactly when they think would be a good time?
I'm going way out on a limb and say.....NEVER.

Tell your Congresscritter to pass the Vitter amendment to STOP our taxdollars paying private abortionists - most of whom are PP employees. It's not only immoral - it's corporate welfare for baby killers.

BTW, this article is a clear admission on the part of PP that in the minds of many people there might actually be a connection between the trauma of death on 9/11 and death in the womb? If they weren't feeling that similarity, why would they bring it up?

"We're all in a different sphere right now than we were a year ago. People are frightened and scared. Now is not the time," said Robin Menin, president of Planned Parenthood Mid-Michigan Alliance.

Why is this a bad time? Why would the public be disturbed by photos of "blobs of tissue"? Hmmm...

"... pushing a religious view of the rights of women."

Uh, since when has this been a crime, or even wrong? Oh that's right, all religious views are oppressive because they limit our right to behave like animals.

Yep, I'd call that an admission on PP's part.

Funny timing abounds. At the same time as Planned Parenthood announced that over 100 of their final solution centers had received envelopes containing white powder, a big OP-Ed piece from Gloria Feldt (Head of PP), appears in our local paper. I would imagine that this piece appeared all over the country that day.

It looks like their massive anthrax scare hit exactly when they were having a propaganda offensive.

This timing reminds me of Mariah Carey having a nervous breakdown at exactly the same time that they launch the PR for the new movie about her. Yes. It could be real, but it could also be useful timing.

I don't back "Army of God" or any group like that.

As for my source, hell, I saw their commercial myself on Lansing's media.

I accept the fact that RvsW is settled law(although it's judicial activism - it should be a state issue), but my money should not be forced to fund them anyway, let alone their political stuff backing democraps.

We have established paper trail in my state on $60K of PP money that went to campaigns as well. They never account for funds in a way that would disallow "plausible deniability."

Note - the disruptor who asks the question is a new member and his screenname reversed is "knee jerk right winger." They all think they are so clever, don't they?

What is your opinion of the Army of God, which has been terrorizing Planned Parenthood for several years with mail that threatened to be infected with anthrax?

I would say the threat is bogus and probably instituted by PP as reason to stir up anti-Christian hate.

I can't swear to this, but I believe these Foundations can spend up to 5% of their money toward political activities. I also believe that TECHNICALLY, it's not political, but issue ads as long as it specifically isn't a candidate being endorsed. The NAAC[ommunist]P did the same crap.

It's like Andrew McKelvey with his Monster.com anti-2nd amendment group.

There's so many campaign finance laws out there, it's hard to keep track.

An official from Planned Parenthood advised abortion rights advocates to ignore the campaign, but criticized Cunningham's group for bringing it so soon after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11.

Just remember, my friends, this is the same group of people who offered FREE abortions in NYC after the 9/11 incident. Hypocrites!

A NATION THAT KILLS ITS OWN CHILDREN - IS A NATION WITHOUT HOPE.
Pope John Paul II

I'd say this is a perfect time to remind people that abortion kills children.

Right. And if this is not a good time to address the issue of abortion WHY is Planned Parenthood of New York offering FREE abortions in honor of the September 11 attack? Some people would have thought a monument would have been the right thing to do but Planned Parenthood "honors" death with more death.

The group in question, which Planned Parenthood and this reporter refrain from naming in hopes that they won't give them any helpful publicity, is Operation Rescue West. The caravan contains their "Truth Truck," which has vivid pictures on its sides of something the abortion-supporters would rather not have people see: Pictures of unborn and aborted babies.

Those who wish to inquire further into this matter can visit the Operation Rescue web site at http://operationrescue.org/

IMHO, this outfit is worthy of support by anyone who supports the right to life. They are prayerful, non-violent, but willing to confront the enemy wherever he is to be found.

"We think of them as the domestic Taliban."

We think of 'Planned Parenthood' as the domestic NAZIs.
