Don't lose hope. A whole lot more people read a thread than take the time to post on it. IF my server logs for pictures posted on FreeRepublic are of any value, I would say at least 5-10 times as many people visit a thread compared to how many post on it (as a minimum), and sometimes a whole lot more.
