The media should cover dissenting opinions in preportion. About 6% are against the war so they should get about 6% of the coverage, id say they get a hell of alot more than that.

The congresswoman, who has a long history of igniting rage and praise from her constituents and others with controversial remarks, complained that her views on U.S. foreign policy and Israeli mistreatment of Palestinians have not been placed in a wider context.I suppose, that "wider context" would be the deep hatred of the Western civilization, harbored by Cynthia "Gimme 10 millions" McKinney

Could her complaint about "white noise" be construed as a racial slur?

"Help me come up with a strategy to get through this white noise that's been put out 24 hours a day."Cynthia has been making some mighty dark sayings lately.

Thanks for posting this. After a long hard day of freeping I really enjoy a good humor thread to wind down with. I am particularly gratified that the silly people who elected this comedian are getting just what they deserve. Just cracks me up.

Rep. McKinney continues to sleep with the enemy, blissfully unaware of the error of her ways. I am ashamed to have this head case representing our great state of Georgia. Unfortunately, I am familiar with her district and would not hasten to bet that she will win re-election. Her followers are as blind as she is...and loyal to no end. Perhaps she could join Reps Condit and Lee for the next mission to Mars...with no round-trip availability.

The vast majority of those who attended McKinney's "dialogue on the Sept. 11 tragedy" also appeared to side with her.Someone tell this treasonous dolt that 9-11 wan't a "tragedy". It was a sneak attack on the sovereign territory of the United States of America that killed thousands of innocents. It was an attack on our economic base. It was an attack on freedom. It was planned and executed by fanatical terrorists working on behalf of hostile foreign governments. McKinney should crawl back under her rock where she belongs.

Ignored? No. Criticised, ridiculed, even cursed, but not ignored.

Only two of the 150 people attending the event voiced criticism of McKinney. And people were supposed to know about this event how? It sure isn't listed on Cynthia's web site.
This reveals the leftist slant of the reporting. The line quoted aboves leaves the impression that people support McKinney wholeheartedly. No mention that this was a selected audience for McKinney's drivel. I'm surprised that there were two dissenters.
I shall now email the author, Ben Smith, bsmith@ajc.com (his email is displayed in the article in the print edition).
