I agree. One indicator may be the location of Bush and Cheney the next 5-6 days. If they have any 'hunches' at all, they would move Bush/Cheney away from any suspect area. I still worry about a second attempt on the USS Cole. (The USS Cole is in Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi.) Afterall, it did take two attempts on the WTC.

I think maybe a dirty radioactive bomb (conventional explosive with cesium-137, cobalt-60, etc.). The radiation sources and explosives can be obtained from within the U.S. This could explain Atta's "red" hands noticed by the pharmacist in Florida. Gloves would have protected him from chemical or biological exposure, but not from radiation exposure. If Atta had been handling anthrax, he would have known he needed an antibiotic, but he was looking for a cream. The burns on his hands would be consistent with handling/carrying a radiation source at a distance from your body.

Ashcroft held a press conference giving a warning of some non-specific terror threat over the next week. He looked pretty damned serious, and pretty damned grim... almost resigned or distraught.

We know what Ashcroft, a devout Christian, already thinks about Halloween. It would make him particularly heavy hearted if the threat had to do with Halloween (kinda "I knew the Satanic power in this day was no good, now here it comes to bite America")
