For my life will have been poorly spent,
And my soul would be surely rent.
If we should lose our liberty today,
Our children's children will never know the way.
Of how our lives are supposed to be,
Or what it means to live truly free.
My humble attempt at prose to you and yours, Sir, may God bless you and keep you safely.
As always,
Phil
Ummm . . . it goes along with BTTT . . . well, kinda . . . sorta . . . !!!
(Except maybe I should have combed my hair! Guess that's what I get for basically coming up there right after work, though!)
I can still hear the guys at work: "You're driving to Cheyenne for breakfast?!?"
Sort of reminded me of our meeting out in Virginia during that little snowstorm. The waitress couldn't get over it!
Next time we get together I'll be the one who does the driving, okay?
God's continued blessing on you and your family, Jeff.
...and thanks for sharing with us!
Your family is beautiful!!....You are blessed!
Couldn't resists sharing a couple. One is my son...
Good looking family my friend, may God hold them in the palm of His hand.

There's one in Arches National Park in Utah, there's one in Bruneau Canyon in Idaho Sout of Buhl ... here's a picture of that one here in Idaho:
There's nice ones in Colradao, Devil's Lake Wisconsin, Trough Creek State Park in Pennsylvania, etc., etc.
In any case, on this partcular trip, the one in Idaho was closest to our line of travel and we were unable to take the side trip to see that.
There's SO much to see on the routes we took, one would have to take 3-4 weeks to really do it any justice. Perhaps by the time Braedon is 10-12 years old my wife and I will be in a position to do just that!
Regards.
As you know, I am in agreement with you re: Constitutional, Rule of Law government. I, too, am distressed that in typical "Big Government Think," U.S. citizens' Constitutional rights are under assault, not from afar, but in Washington, DC.
Ultimately, we will prevail, but we have a hellofalot of "blood, sweat and tears" ahead of us.
Let's roll!
I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.
[Thomas Jefferson, letter to Benjamin Rush, 1800.]
We closed in our carport and I have the outside finished (vinyl siding, doors and windows all in). Will start working on the inside (insulation, sheet rock, flooring) this winter as time and denero allow. Intend to put a large woodburning stove out there.
God bless and take good care.
Glad to share something so innocent, pure and joyous during these troubled times.
During the times we live in and face, it is always important to have reminders of what our lives, liberty and society are rooted in and why it is so important to sacrifice and fight for them.
FRegards!
He has some HUGE paws on him and he's going to be a big guy.
I sat in the bleachers flirting with a couple of toddlers near by.They were too adorable with their big, bright eyes and glowing complexions.
At the end of the game, 100 first grade football players and cheerleaders gathered together with their parents. The coach led them in prayer and shed a few tears before they drenched him with ice water. He gave a great speech expressing his love and pride for each and every one of them. "Get your education. If you get a job one day riding in the back of a garbage truck, do it because you want to. Not because you have to!" he said.
Quite a few parents choked up. I think it had more to do with the interesting times we find ourselves in than a sports victory
Makes you appreciate the "good stuff" now!
It's still too big for me. I was raised on a small ranch in rural Texas. As DFW grew, that country filled up with people so eventually we made our way west. We live a good 30 miles from Boise in a small town. It was a good compromise between myself (who wanted to be about 50 miles further out) and my wife (who likes the small town atmosphere but wants to be close enough to a larger city to take advantage of the amenities).
Hope you and yours get to make the move when it is right for you.
Don't worry, no liberal/socialist/globalist/marxist influence on this one. My daughter is planning on Homes Schooling him and she's well grounded in the constituion and what liberty is all about.
Regards.
