Jews who lived in Europe before WWII were citizens of the countries that they lived in.

When Poland was founded after WWII, it gave Polish passports to Jews. However, it declared in the 1930's that any Jew who left the country would not be allowed to return.

In 1938, the nazis tried to deport all Jews with Polish passports living in German back to Poland but the Polish government refused to accept them. (This was one of the things that solidified German public opinion in favor of going to war with Poland.)

The law against Jews returning to Poland would have theoretically applied to Georges Charpak, although Charpak was in France at the time, not Germany.

The Poles now claim Charpak as a "Polish" Nobel Prize winner. If that is not the height of hypocrisy, I don't know what is.

Me: It is a well-known fact that Jews in Eastern Europe, including Poland, were never considered citizens of the countries in which they lived.

You: It's not known to me.

You ARE aware that, under the czar, Jews were severly restricted as to what part of the country they could live in, are you not? Do you call that citizenship?

In 1882, my father's grandfather was told that the town in which he had grown up would no longer be a place in which Jews were allowed. He made the wise decision to emigrate to the United States and never looked back.

So I guess they should be primarily loyal to America and not Israel, eh?

Any American Jew who wins a Nobel Prize is rightly listed as an American, without question.

And I find it interesting that a Russia-Firster, such as yourself would question other people's loyalty to the United States.

And serfs were restricted to what village they could live in. You are talking about hardships, not citizenship.

And when the pale of settlement was lifted, Russia had Bolshevik revolution. Thanks a lot.

A counter-attack, eh? I don't see how Russians living in the US lobby for special treatment and aid to Russia and that they are brought up with the primary loyalty to their tribe.

Listen, buster. My grandfather fought in the US Army in France in WWI. My father was a career officer in the US Navy and fought in the Pacific in WWII.

What have you or your family ever done for the United States?

February revolution that preceded the Bolshevik revolution.

Listen, buster. My grandfather fought in the US Army in France in WWI. My father was a career officer in the US Navy and fought in the Pacific in WWII.

Weren't they drafted? And how does that prove anything?

What have you or your family ever done for the United States?

What have you done? Or should I ask, are you a good American with the primary loyalty to the US and not Israel?

I have lived here for less than a decade and my parents didn't have the luxury of claiming bogus persecution in order to suck off taxpayers on Brighton Beach in NYC like your tribesmen from the former Soviet Union like to do.

I don't hide the fact that I support Israel. I don't see how that makes me any less loyal to the United States, anymore than someone who supports the billions of dollars a year the United States spends defending Taiwan is somehow disloyal.

I have lived here for less than a decade

And you are already questioning other people's loyalty. You learn fast

"My tribesmen" pay more taxes and collect less welfare than just about any other group in the United States. If Russian Jews in Brighton Beach are living off welfare, they probably learned it in Russia.

What's the matter. You hate those holocaust museums?

Au contraire, folks like GROUCHOTWO and several others on FR LOVE the Holocaust Museums. They love to visit the exhibits and view the photographs of dead Jews, the piles of shoes, the bins of gold-filled teeth, the bales of hair, and they get positively orgasmic over the kickass job of jewkilling those nazi's did.

This piece is written by an American Jew so I have no choice but assume that he's not an antisemite.

You assume wrong. Some of the worst "anti-Semites" (or rather, Jew haters) are secular Jews who hate the religious. This man Bloom, a self-described atheist and secular Jew, set out to demonize the community of religious Jews, and he gets away with it because of people such as you who think it is impossible for a Jew to hate Jews, but there are certainly Jews who hate Judaism.

For other examples of Judaism-hating Jews, try Karl Marx, or any of the members of the "Peace Now" crowd.

Thanks. Now I know that his book is a pack of anti-semitic lies and there's no problem in Postville.
He should be charged with a hate crime.

Poland had plenty of traitors and backstabbers. That's why it was communist for so many years. And the really rough part is there weren't enough Jews left after WW2 to effectively pin communism on the Jews there. In Russia at least this was possible, even if untrue.

Oh, how unfair life can be sometimes!

What I omitted was that just as there are Jews who are no good for Israel, there are Poles who are no good for Poland. Jew write more and get published more so I can always find Jewish "traitors" and what are known as self hating Jews........ So can you and so can the Aryan nation websites.

Finding Polish traitors on the net is more difficult. But there were many during the commie years.

OK!  Hahahhah.
You can it or leave it but this is my take. Jerusalem is the center of Western Civilization. The center of Jerusalem is the Western Wall. I don't want to die tomorrow but if I do at least I got a chance to visit both and prayed at the Wall.

It seems like a fight to declare, who is a "true Jew". Why demonize your own people for different views and then blame the others for not attacking the Jew haters, who are also Jews. This kind of logic escapes me.

No problem with your take. Jerusalem is also a big part of my religion.
Who knows, maybe after war is over we'll go together to Jerusalem and thank God for all blessings we receive despite of our sins.
Hey, we could even have a good borscht with pierogis and a little shot of Zubrówka.

It depends where you draw the line for that support, obviously.

And you are already questioning other people's loyalty. You learn fast

When one sees such in-your-face Israel-first un-American behavior, how long do you think it should take to take a note of that?

If Russian Jews in Brighton Beach are living off welfare, they probably learned it in Russia.

Another Jewish supremacist belief.

Aren't you pushing it too far by asking for a logical debate? If logic was required, the ifers would be up the creek without a paddle.

Surprisingly there is a small bubble arising in the US that becoming annoyed with the afore-said group's control over our tax money, economy, government and even our culture.

The reasons for this annoyance are many and include:
1.the absolute trashing of our culture and moral values,
2.attacking and denigrating so many groups of loyal Americans. The list of those slandered is very long...Southerners, Italians, Catholics, Christians, Polish, etc. The goal here, of course, was to play one group against another as a classic example of divertion politics. Remember that the OJ trial was really a Dershowitz show.
3.US foreign policy does not represent the will of the people. Shipping jobs overseas has been dictated by our now Wall Street controlled businesses and our AIPAC controlled government.
4.US foreign aid is not distributed according to the wishes of the citizens but is dictated by lobbies such as AIPAC.
5.US Immigration: How many of us knew that almost one million per year were legally admitted? Is there a reason that 100,000 Bangladeshis are living in New York City?

BTW, Malarski, I forgot to ask why Gentiles are being persecuted in Palestine.

The usury bit you mention is only one of many reasons. You left out the Church which was probably the greatest factor in the spread of anti-semitism in Europe.

However by the usury business hangs an interesting tale.

Initially usury was forced on them because an economy couldn't exisd without it. As a consequence the Jews became the bankers of the time. When the nobility built up a big enough debt to the Jewish bankers they would find some sort of execuse to boot the Jews out and thus get rid of the loan they owed the Jews. This was one of the main reason they wer expelled from England and Vienna. In other instances they were just outright killed or forcibly dispossed of their wealth.

The Catholic Church made usury "legal" after pressure from the nobles who saw what a lucrative business banking could be. One of the reasons Oliver Cromwell invited the Jews back to England was the Jewish bankers kicked out of England had help make Holland a power and he wanted their talent for England.

And for you Yanks who might be interested Jewish bankers in Europe funded the Revolutionary War for you which pi$$ed the British off no end.

Took note of the following piece of your little back and forth:

"If Russian Jews in Brighton Beach are living off welfare, they probably learned it in Russia.

Another Jewish supremacist belief.

Well, people go on and on about the Jews running Wall Street and all that, which obviously is not a very pro-welfare lifestyle. So it makes sense that if Russian Jews are living off welfare, they picked those traits up from their Russia background, and not from their being Jewish. Sorry, logic is logic--Ruskies just are lazy bastards, whether Jewish, Christian or athiest.
