"Here was a man...a man who was born in a small village, the son of a peasant woman. He grew up in another small village. Until He reached the age of thirty, He worked as a carpenter; then, for three years, He was a travelling minister. But He never travelled more than two hundred miles from where He was born, and where He did go, He usually walked. He never held political office, He never wrote a book, He never bought a home, He never had a family, He never went to college, and He never set foot inside a big city, yet...here was a man.
Here was a man...though He never did one of those things that you usually associate with greatness, He had no credentials but Himself. He had nothing to do with this World, except through the Divine Purpose that brought Him to this World.
While He was still a young man, the Tide of Popular Opinion turned against Him. Most of His FRiends ran away...one of them denied Him, one of them betrayed Him and turned Him over to his Enemies. Then, He went through the mockery of a Trial and was nailed to a Roman Cross between two thieves. And even while He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only piece of property He had in this World, and that was His robe, His Purple Robe. When He was dead, He was taken down from the cross and laid in a borrowed grave, provided by a compassionate FRiend.
More than Nineteen Centuries have come and gone, and today He's the Centerpiece of the Human Race, Our Leader, and the Column to Human Destiny. And I think I'm well within the mark when I say that All of the Armies that Ever Marched, All of the Navies that Ever Sailed, All of the Legislative Bodies that Ever Sat, and All of the Kings that Ever Reigned...All of Them Put Together have not affected the Life of Man on this Earth so Powerfully as that One Solitary Life...

Yep...been there, done that fer 3-4 years, and I seriously used to read every single editorial in the RTD from approximately 1985 until maybe '98. The RTD introduced me to Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Deroy Murdock, etc., but now they seem to think Molly Ivins Hate-Filled Rantings are more appropriate fare for the Richmond Metropolis to be force-fed...SHEEEEEESH!! What pisses me off is that I just kept writing that ever-growing check to Richmond Newspapers, Inc. every quarter fer all those years and they turn around and go Lib'ral on me!!

Yesterday on CNN, I noticed a little blurb running on the "crawl" on the bottom of the screen. It said that, one week prior to filing for bankruptcy, Emron contributed $100K to the Democratic National Committee. Do you suppose that Terry McAwful might have had a hand in this? And, if so, what quid-pro-quo might there have been?
When I saw this little bite running at the bottom of the screen, I thought to myself, oh goody: this will help "innoculate" GWB from further press criticisms that he was "personally close" to Emron management. (You know these guys from the "oil patch" are "thick as thieves" -- according to the lamestream media....)
If this story is true, I'd just point out that Emron did not give the RNC that $100K.... :^) And I note that the press is being very quiet about that donation right about now. Gee, I wonder why.

Do it, my FRiend...it was AWE-inspiring!! I thought they could have done a better job on the Balrog, but the sets they produced, the caves, the towers, the Shire, all incredibly surreal...seriously, the cinematography was superb, and most of the characterization was on-target as well. Anybody who watched this and wasn't thrilled obviously hated Tolkien in the first place, because the movie s true to the book.
Can't wait fer "The Two Towers" and "Return of the King"...but I reckon I will.

Less than one year removed from occupying the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, is a small petty man, heading a vast criminal conspiracy. Bill Clinton most certainly committed multiple felonies and obstructed justice in the Monica Lewinsky matter. A morally-weak, spineless Senate was not up to the task of removing him from office, making a mockery of our Legal System as the #1 Law Enforcement Officer in the land is master-minding a relentless attack on The Rule of Law; however, it is clear that Clinton is "Guilty" (beyond all reasonable doubts) of multiple felonies and SHALL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE!!
Since escaping Justice in the Impeachment Trial, Mr. Clinton has been credibly accused of Violent RAPE by one nice woman, Ms. Juanita Broaddrick. Either this is a major slander against the good name of an innocent man...or else Bill Clinton raped and violently bit the lip of this young woman. If it wasn't true, don't you think the Rapist-in-Chief would have come out a bit more strongly in his own defense?!
Now, we come to find out the President of the United States is most likely guilty of TREASON, for accepting illegal foreign campaign donations from the Communist Chinese in exchange for basically offering a free run of our Nuclear Weapons Labs and authorizing high technology transfers through key Democratic National Committee contributors, Hughes and Loral. Corruption never ran as deep and as wide as is the case with Slick Willie's Administration!!
