Yeah. This just reinforces something that I posted a couple weeks ago. To these reporters, they don't view themselves as being left wing. They view themselves as being middle of the road. And since their politics are so far left, to them there's no such thing as a "left-wing extremist". Even a moderate is conservative to them, and the average conservative is considered by them to be an extremist.

Anyway, I fully intend to get this book. Maybe I can suggest it as a gift to a family member? Make an oh so subtle hint about what I'd like for Christmas. ;)

I gotta say, though, that considering how liberals have pretty much owned the media for several decades, now, it's amazing that the number of conseratives in this country is as high as it is. (50% or so) Were the media more balanced, then chances are the number of conservatives would swell. Maybe as high as 65-75%. You'll always have your hardcore liberal, but they wouldn't be anywhere near as numerous as they are, now, thanks to the disinformation and lies spread by the media. Thank God for FOX News!

They view themselves as being middle of the road.

That may be true for some, but personally, I believe they KNOW they lean MUCH farther left than a lot of the public and it is their INTENT to form and mold public opinion. I think they delight in their perception of having control over their audience. The media is on a power trip, and they hate having that exposed for what it is. Particularly to the impressionable, many that there are, that buy into every word from Dan Rather's lips. Or Peter Jenning's, Katie Couric's, etc.
