Who wants to be the National Champion? Nobody, apparently. In the last few weeks we've seen Michigan, Washington, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, BYU, and now Tennessee blow a near sure shot or solid claim to play for the Mythical National Championship. Even Miami tried to blow it, but Va Tech caught the fever and handed it back.
But actually, this is the best that could happen to college football, a BCS worst nightmare. Hey Kramer, how do you like your BCS and Conference Championship now, you sorry snake-oil salesman?
Let the orange whining commence, and the arguing begin. What a joke the Rose Bowl will be.
Miami was going to win that game one way or another, I don't see why people see it any other way, dropped 2 point conversion (for a TIE) happened with 6 minutes to go plenty of time..... but I digress...
Tennesse, as happy as they were for beating the Gators, have just GOT to be as devastated. Is this a weird season or what? ANY one loss team should have a shot to play (Nebraska, Oregon, heck MARYLAND even)... but only one will, and they will be chosen by some crazy ass BCS system.. Bizzaro man..
And I really liked you up to this point. lol
They were a so-so team this year that had a lucky game and beat Florida. Had they played the Gators back in Sept when they were scheduled, they would have lost and we would have seen Florida pick up their 12th win of the season tonight.
