Potter author J.K. Rowling claims to have come up with the idea for Harry Potter while on a cruise.

I heard that she was on welfare. How could she afford a cruise? Hmmm.

I thought she said in interview that she came up with the idea on a train.

Oh well, some types of Christian never let the real facts get in the way of some nice juicy lies and distortion.

British Rail is a lot less luxurious than a cruise, believe me! ;-)

From this Interview:

Where the idea for Harry Potter actually came from I really couldn't tell you. I was travelling on a train between Manchester and London and it just popped into my head. I spent four hours thinking about what Hogwarts would be like - the most interesting train journey I've ever taken. By the time I got off at King's Cross many of the characters in the books had already been invented.

And so the cruise becomes yet another distortion of the truth, just like the claims that she "majored in Mythology" when every bio I've seen says she majored in "French."

If it's true that the books are evil, then why can't they be discredited with the truth and not distorted facts?
