I would like to know a lot more about where organizations like ELF get their funding. In this particular case, it would be interesting to know 1) if the government employees involved belonged to any radical environmental groups, and 2) if they were promised any remuneration or had any other financial interests that would benefit by more restrictive environmental regulations.

It would be very interesting to know their educational backgrounds also, and whether they have published anything on environmental issues.

The public has a right to know the identity of these individuals.
