The pleasure of the flight from Frodo's home takes but minutes. No clear high elf voices singing as they travel through the mountains at night. How I have longed to hear that sound.

This is exactly the kind of thing I missed throughout the movie. I know that they couldn't do this kind of thing, they just simply could not do it all. My brain understands that, but my heart missed it much.

I still loved the movie. I loved that PJ was as true to the books as he was. I will await the release of the DVD with great anticipation.

The battle scene in the beginning was great. And the when the Ringwraiths were chasing Arwen and Frodo, while not in the book, was heartstopping. All around awsome movie. Hope the grosses hold up.
