They probably look to the New Millionaires of Russia and think there's some kind of "Businessman's" exemption from being liquidated once the takeover's complete.

Quite possible they're mistaken on this score being as they're not actually part of the Collective from which those businessmen came.

I guess it all depends on how long the US remains useful for redistribution of wealth and "World Revolution by Proxy".
