Rob, Roger Hedgecock is no Rank Amateur. He has had the leading conservative talk show in Southern California for something like 10 years. I didn't hear the show, maybe he had an off day, but next to Rush, I'd say Roger is as good as they come.

Yeah, he may have just had an off day. I could have made his point better than he did and I
disagree with him.
I know that someday I, too, will have an off day. I'll let everyone know how it felt with a vanity post 8^>

Hedgecock is OK. Some people deserve to be hung up on.
Federal compensation for 9/11 victims is only justifiable in the context that it is an attempt to prevent the airline industry from going bankrupt, a fate which will PROBABLY BEFALL AMERICAN AIRLINES ANYWAY.
I'd rather see the victims get immediate compensation without a bunch of scumsucking lawyers literally taking their pound of flesh.
The Feds routinely waste a lot more of our cash on things more foolish than this. The victims should do their patriotic duty and take the cash.
Whining about adjustments is just plain wrong, as Rush rightly points out.

I'd like to see Rush give Howie Carr a chance at sitting in. Howie's a conservative/populist/demagogue but he can be
very funny.
If he ever fills in for Rush he should interview Marty Meehan.
