This is another one week wonder as a political story. As was Daschle's speech last week.

I'm listening to the radio at 0800et, and it's being played totally as a political story, not a business story. Of course, Ann Coulter for ABC is not my definition of smart. And rather ingnorant of a large picture on anything---she heads for a headline detail. Not deep, and for her age that means she'll never be good.

Couldn't agree more. It might sputter before then, actually. The bottom line is that there's no 'there, there'. Unless real administration malfeasance can be shown, the public will just shrug this off as just another beltway fishing expedition.

This is another one week wonder as a political story.

It was slow in August, gathering steam in October as the stock continued to tank, getting a full head in November as the stock really dived, and further in December with the bankruptcy...with more revelations practically daily since then.

Quite the "one-week wonder," as it's been playing for four months now and shows no sign of abating!
