According to a witness, Chase Goodman, the students tackled the gunman. The gunman was a large person. The witness said that the gunman had a bad attitude and is mad at everyone. He left campus during lunch and came back with a gun. The nationality of the gunman is not being reported. One girl was shot in the neck.

Student Goodman finally stated (with reservations) the shooter was from Nigeria. I believe one of the attorneys in my firm went there. Suspect it is slightly less liberal than most big law schools.

Did they say if she is one of the fatalities or one of the survivors? If the latter, the death toll could go higher.

Good to hear the students acted to stop this killer! Thank God! Now we will see the Civil Libertarians and the anti-death penalty freaks and who knows who else come out of the woodwork to protect the killer from what he deserves - the death penalty -all the while blaming the deaths not on the killer but on the "gun" he used.

Very sad for the families of those now dead and wounded. If killers like this were tried, found guilty, and executed swiftly - I expect more of these types of killings would stop.

Call me cynical, but that sounds like the post-9/11 PCuphemism equivalent to the pre-9/11-style "The race of the gunman is not being reported" euphemistic definition for "not white".
