Do you have as much guts as a poor black woman named Rosa Parks did? She was risking a whole lot more doing "civil disobedience" in the Jim Crow South of the time - where "uppity" blacks were commonly lynched - than you would be doing "civil disobedience!"

Conservatives don't give in, republican politicians do. Look at what the "conservative" Maryland delegate has to say about it. He thinks anyone who has spent a year in jail should never have a gun again. With that kind of "champion" for our rights, we're doomed anyway.

I'm not letting them disarm me. You can give in if you like.

It is just about high time that we quit allowing the crooks who wipe their bum on the constitution, to divide us with rhetoric. --don't know about it being just liberals. Quite a few official bigwig professional GOPpers, the guys with the juice, not the peon grassroots goppers (who they don't care about except as revenue streams), support "project exile' which is strict enforcement and maximum served penalites and loss of firearms for the 10,000 to 20,000 or so firearms "laws" on the books. I'd call that a 'threat' too, at least with the libocrats, they make no bones about being "your friend, send us money". I saw em do two things last year, ashcroft said that it was the official position that the second amendment was an individual right, but then the admin came out in favor of project exile. This is called "forked tongue".

I'd say when it comes to your guns and our other born-with rights, watch ALL the elite above the peon's law fatcats, and stop worrying about political labels as much. I remember the 68 guncontrol act, what was said then, who said it, and what has happened since. There's 'talk" then 'actions", two different "things" there.
