The Canon Law says "procure an abortion." When the Canon Law Changes maybe we can.

You'd probably have voted for her.

I don't understand that remark. I am as anti-abortion as one can be.

Don't worry - the followers of Martin Luther (whose clerics molest children at a greater rate than Catholic priests) will be here soon.

---------------------- Can you give me a reference to this claim?

Okay, sorry. It's just that so many people have such negative views of the Catholic hierarchy that they can't help but like anyone who stands in opposition to the Catholic Church. If that's not you, I sincerely apologize.

Maybe I missed something, but in all the referenced sites I only found one reference to a Lutheran--and he committed adultery. Or, are you calling all Protestants followers of Luther? If you are, you are not correct, and I am sure all Methodists, Presbyterians, Baptists, Assembly of God, etc., etc. would agree with me. It would probably be correct to say that all followers of Luther are Protestant, but not all Protestants are followers of Luther.

And, if Protestants and Catholics want to fight about something, I don't thing it should be abortion. All conservative Christians, of whatever denomination, should unite on this issue even, if they never agree on anything else. This is the greatest shame our country has ever had.

I stand corrected.

The most vile, alcoholic, perverse Martin Lucifer should not be attached to all Protestants. My apologies.

The pope is pro-life, and he's catholic? Hmmm....now I wonder that bear is doing in the woods.

Why do people on this site try to pick fights with others by saying ugly things? I happen to be a Lutheran--Missouri Synod. I don't hate Catholics--I have a daughter who is Roman Catholic, and I love her very much. I don't hate you. I don't say ugly things about the Pope (I don't agree with many things he advocates and represents, but I sure support his opposition to abortion). Why should you say ugly things about Luther? We should make the most of the commonality that we have. That does not mean we should be in communion with each other, but we certainly shouldn't be enemies. We have enough common foes to whom/which our fight should be directed.
