I will believe we have made progress in this country when I see someone like Condi Rice tell the race-baiting NAACP to take there award and put it where the sun don't shine.

The award is given to those who "advance the ideals of the NAACP through image, personal achievement and service to all people of color." The award is nice and all, but when did Miss Rice start to advance the ideals of the NAACP? I never heard her blame white people for anything.

As I saw this story, I was thinking thesame thing. Rice ought to return it to Kweezy and tell him to stick where the sun don't shine. All this award does is divide.

Very interesting situation.. If she accepts the award is she agreeing with their "cause".. If she reject the award is she being rude?... Hmm Interesting... I look foward to seeing what she does, more importantly what she SAYS if she decides to accept it.. Be sure to mark "23 February" on your calandar for this one..

About a year and a half ago the NAACP was running TV ads saying Condy Rice's boss was responsible for the dragging death of a black man in Texas because he didn't sign "hate crimes" legislation while govenor. They are a liberal racist organization and Ms Rice chould politely refuse their little award.

Boggles the mind. Who's next? Alan Keyes?

The award is given to those who "advance the ideals of the NAACP through image, personal achievement and service to all people of color." Provided the color (people of color) is BLACK, all other colors are inferior...!!! By their philisophy anyway! These racists need to go away.

Interesting...she might not be a bad pick for the VP candidate slot...I never thought of her.
To: kattracks
It is possible they are trying to cozy up to her so later they can say "see..we..love con..cons..conservatives too." My brother always says "it'll all come out in the wash". We just have to wait for the rinse cycle.

The award is nice and all, but when did Miss Rice start to advance the ideals of the NAACP? I never heard her blame white people for anything. Better question is when did the NAACP start to accept people like Condi Rice as something more than sellout's? In the true spirit of the award, Dr. Rice is very deserving. Unfortunately, the NAACP has rarely acted in this spirit.
