Ayuh. Clinton didn't even try and I bet in that speech he gave in Berkeley he must have been envious of President Bush's approval ratings. The difference is Clinton designed policies with an eye to the polls; President Bush is popular because people see him as a real leader not because he lives and dies by the polls. That's why he's winning the respect and affection of the American people as our President.

I remember that when Clinton took office, someone in his administration mocked Bush the elder, because he had said that the greatest thing about being President was the honor of holding the office. If all he does as President is restore honor to the office, then he would have done our country a great service.
